“Books by Scratch” is just what the name says. Learn to make a journal from the ground up.

I’ve made these books for years and given them as gifts for graduation, memory books as sympathy remembrances, wedding gifts, wine journals and you can use heavier pages and use as a custom sketch book. The kit contains all the paper, book board, book cloth, waxed thread, and needle. You just need to add scissors, glue (PVA is best) and book awl or large needle. Our Book Cradle is very helpful in making your book. The book board, pages, and templates are available separately if you want to use your own decorative papers. Your original kit will contain all the sizes to cut your own. Each designer paper pack is individually made and there is rarely a duplicate available.

The cover is noted, and the end paper is the inside of the covers. The strip laying between the cover and the end paper will be spine.
