Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan was developed to be a versatile paint that would work beautifully on furniture without priming or sanding; would be easy to use and quick to dry; this in turn could be used for many different applications.

Emperor’s Silk is a bright pure red Chalk Paint® colour, reminiscent of the silk lining of a jacket. It is also the red of Chinese lacquer, especially when deepened with Black Chalk Paint® Wax. Use it in the interior of a cupboard or drawer for a pop of colour.
