Preview “Book From Scratch” Kit and Video

This Saturday… December 19, 2020 @ 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Join Joni during the Free Facebook Live Event this Saturday! She will be going over the layout of her handmade, customizable books that make wonderful graduation gifts, sympathy remembrances, wedding gifts, or even custom sketchbooks. The kits contain the paper, book board, book cloth, waxed thread, and needle for you to complete your Book from Scratch.

You can see the various kit patterns here, there are rarely duplicate patterns, so you can purchase one and follow along when you purchase the official class video! You will need to supply your own scissors, glue (we recommend PVA glue), and a book awl or large needle. Something helpful in the construction of your book is our Book Cradle to help when poking the holes in the spine to bind it together.

From now until the end of the year, you get the class video FREE with the purchase of 2 book kits. This will be a great idea for you and a friend to have a project you can complete together.

Next Saturday, December 26th, Joni will be doing a short Facebook Live Demo on how to foil the tops of your bottles when you are creating Soldered Story Bottles. She will be following it up soon after with a repeat of the Soldered Story Bottle class, so you have a 2nd chance to take it if you weren’t able to join last time.

New Jewelry Designed by Joni

Joni will also be unveiling her newest jewelry design soon. She has taken inspiration from her Junk Jewelry Bracelets and created Junk Earrings to match! Look forward to seeing her newest creations, hopefully next week.

Our hours will be changing after Christmas. We will dropping Tuesdays and only be open from Wednesdays through Saturdays, so be sure to take that into account when planning your shopping trips to Mrs. O’Leary’s. We will be keeping to this new schedule until spring, but we look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesdays again in a few months!
